Our Story
A local team committed to lasting change
CHANGE REACTION was founded to bring high-quality, community and behavioral healthcare within reach of every family we serve — first in Maryland, and now expanding to Ohio. We believe real, sustainable change happens when people are supported with dignity — in the environments where they live, learn, work, and grow.
Our team of experienced professionals partners with children, adolescents, adults, and families to build individualized plans grounded in each person's strengths, culture, and goals. Whether someone is navigating a difficult season or working toward long-term wellness, we walk alongside them with steady, compassionate support.

"My mission is to connect individuals and families with the care, resources, and support they need to create positive and lasting change."
Kimberly M. Green brings more than 30 years of experience in social services. Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse populations, including children, adults, older adults, individuals experiencing homelessness, and people navigating mental health, substance-use, HIV-related, probation, and parole concerns.
Her experience also includes connecting individuals and families with essential services such as Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, housing assistance, legal services, and other community resources. Kimberly has collaborated with organizations including Child and Family Services, juvenile justice agencies, the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, and the District of Columbia Superior Court.
Kimberly earned her bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Akron in 1999. After graduating, she relocated to the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region to pursue her career goals. She previously served as a certified addictions counselor in Maryland and the District of Columbia from 2002 through 2009.
Kimberly fulfilled her longtime goal of establishing CHANGE REACTION in Maryland and is now expanding the organization's mission to Ohio, returning to the community where her journey began. Her goal is to give back by helping individuals and families access compassionate support, valuable resources, and opportunities for positive change.
Outside of her professional work, Kimberly is a proud mother and grandmother who deeply values family, community, compassion, and service.
